Author's jewellery Kateřina Reichová

At first glance, Kateřina Reich's jewellery is unique in its constructive and geometric expression with perfectly detailed details. The author is inspired by futuristic style, her vision of the future, where jewellery is created on the borderline of body art, but still with an emphasis on its functional wearability. She is mainly interested in innovative and traditional approaches in jewellery. In 2018, her Kyō collection, inspired by Japanese art, was awarded Best Jewellery Collection at the international design show Designblok and subsequently nominated for the Czech Grand Design Awards. In her jewellery she likes to use surgical steel, gilded brass and silver in combination with acrylic glass, which creates an important colour accent.

Her work has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, the Chinese edition of Harper's Bazaar and Cosmopolitan, alongside brands such as Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Céline, Giorgio Armani, Valentino and others.
