Cubist brass box

This brass box proves that the architect Hofman followed the path of freeing matter and searching for its inner spirit. By liberating matter and finding its own dynamics, a new abstract form unlike anything created by nature was created. Architecture and design, according to his conception, sought to set matter in motion and then to capture such a point at rest. This is a reproduction of the original in the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague.
