Libuše Niklová, nee. Kyseláková (1934 Zlín - 1981 Gottwaldov) was a world-famous Czech toy designer. She created over 230 original toys, which were produced in many colour variations, such as rubber figures, animals with accordion bodies or inflatable toys. Her work is represented in the collections of museums around the world, including the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris, the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the UPM in Prague and the Museum of Art and Design Benešov. In 2011, on the occasion of the Czech Grand Design Awards, she was the first woman to be inducted into the Hall of Fame in memoriam. The award was received by her son, artist Petr Nikl.
