The Rückl glassworks has been synonymous with first-class cut crystal since 1846.

The Rückl family of glassmakers came to Bohemia at the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries. The first stable glassworks bearing the family name was established in Cyranov Wostrov in 1846 thanks to the efforts of Jan Rückl. Together with this date, the foundations were laid for the future glass empire, which had already linked its passions forever with several places in the Czech territory.

For generations Rückl has used wooden moulds for crystal blowing. Each piece is carefully selected from quality hardwoods, mainly beech and pear. The sturdy logs, with their narrow summer rings, are the ideal material for the glass mould.

Rückl is committed to the renaissance of Czech cut crystal and represents the pinnacle of this traditional craft. Under the hands of master cutters from Nizhny Bory, the glass raw material is transformed into a perfect product. Rückl is characterised by an exceptionally sharp cut, the precision of which is immediately recognisable.
