Designer and sculptor Rony Plesl, known for his glass design and original glass sculptures. In addition to his own limited editions of drinking glass, vases and interior objects, he also designs for leading international brands such as Barovier. His work is represented in many art collections. In his current work, Rony Plesl is intensively devoted to working with uranium glass, the production of which has been preserved in only a few glassworks in Europe. In daylight, this glass glows a soft green-yellow, while sharp artificial light brings out the nuances of the cut and UV light illuminates it like a lamp. The practical packaging material has become its opposite in the hands of Rony Plesl. A crystal glass object that will stand out in your home. Rony Plesl, head of the Glass Studio at the Prague UMPRUM and winner of many awards, designed them for the BOMMA glassworks, which developed a new glass pressing technology specifically for their production.
