The "Tulip" display cabinet was designed by Jindřich Halabala in the 1930s for the United Arts and Crafts Works in Brno as part of the dining room ensemble. A very elegant showcase from the just before the war J series, in which the UP factories leaned towards a more decorative form of French Art Deco furniture. The veneer and finish is optional. The production of this piece is demanding and therefore takes 4 months.

Legendary and timeless. That's Halabala, and that's his furniture. The spider, Halabala's table from the 1950s, decorating many a contemporary interior, is certainly an icon of its time. As the main designer, Halabala fundamentally influenced the activities and work of United UP factories, a company that was one of the most progressive and largest furniture factories in the then Czechoslovakia.
